Weddings
The Judges of the Rocky River Municipal Court perform civil
marriage
ceremonies on site for
residents of the court's jurisdiction (Bay
Village, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Rocky
River, and Westlake) on prescheduled
Thursdays between the hours of
1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
The
wedding filing fee is $25.00
To schedule a wedding,
fill in and email the form below or contact
the court MON.-THUR. at (440)331-9806.
You will be asked to provide the following
information: names of both parties,
address, day time phone number, requested
date and time of wedding. While the
judges make every effort to oblige
resident requests, their court schedules
take precedence.
Prior to the wedding, the parties will need
to obtain a marriage license from the Cuyahoga County
Probate Court on Lakeside Avenue in downtown Cleveland.
This
marriage license is required the day of the
wedding.
Rocky River Municipal Court
charges a nominal $25.00 wedding filing fee.
The parties are asked to
arrive 10 minutes prior to the wedding in
order for the Clerk's office (Civil Department) to
complete the necessary paperwork.
Witnesses are not
required. Guests are always welcome.
